Cerner Inks Two More EHR Deals

Cerner just announced two more renewal contracts with Western Connecticut Health Network and Glens Falls Hospital, in addition to its $4.3 billion deal with the Department of Defense.

Western Connecticut Health Network (WCHN) will use Cerner’s EHR system, which includes clinical and financial solutions and population health management. The installment will occur across WCHN’s 3 hospitals, 36 clinical locations and 400-physician medical group.

Glens Falls Hospital, a health system in upstate New York, signed Cerner to extend its Millennium EHR into the system’s ambulatory facilities, to enhance clinical processes and healthcare delivery capabilities, and to position the health system for future growth and advancement. In February, Cerner ITWorks services also took on operational and administrative responsibilities for the health system’s information technology.
