MDLIVE, a Virtual Health Service, Receives $50M in Private Equity Funding

MDLIVE, a virtual health service, recently received a $50 million investment from Bedford Funding, a private equity firm that specializes in the software industry. According to the MoneyTree Report for 2014, MDLIVE received $23.6 million in venture capital funding. MDLIVE currently has more than 200 employees and provides millions with access to virtual doctor visits via partnerships with Walgreens, Microsoft and other major health systems.
