New Trade Group For Practice Management Systems

MedCity News announced the creation of the Healthcare Administrative Technology Association (HATA). This nonprofit organization represents healthcare administrative officials who work to create new healthcare technologies.

Tim McMullen, the executive director of HATA, states that, “HATA is a key stakeholder in the $40 billion physician revenue cycle industry and will be an active and influential voice promoting goals and values within the healthcare administrative industry and driving administrative efficiencies.”

HATA hopes to unite the many fragmented practice management companies to create a stronger presence within the healthcare industry. In addition, it will allow for the creation of a network between professionals within the healthcare technology industry.
