Personable, talented Emergency Medicine Physician in a professional, high quality private practice of emergency and urgent care medicine. Founded 31 years ago by an emergency medical and occupational medicine specialist. We offer five clinics located in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo areas, providing full injury and clinic services from pre-employment physicals to complex case management. Thousands of companies in Southern Colorado use us to take care of their injured workers. The majority of our patients are motivated working people or sports injured individuals. We have an in-house pharmacy, physical therapy and rehabilitation, x-ray, ACLS, lab and trauma care capabilities. We maintain follow-up with our patients, and act as the case manager for their work injuries. Our consultants are "hand" selected by their credentials, reputation, outcomes and ability to communicate well with our patients and physicians. You will receive feedback from every consultant visit. The patient mix is approximately 50:50 injured workers to injured "private pay" patients. We do no Medicare or Medicaid billing.. Physicians must be residency trained and board certified in acute care, emergency medicine, family practice, occupational medicine, ortho, or general surgery. There is no night call or hospital duty, and minimal weekend scheduling. Excellent compensation package.

General bread and butter family practice and pediatrics. 100%outpatient, working out of one clinic. Call is one week every four months. Volume will be on average 30 patients per day. Monday through Friday 8-6. Option to work Saturday clinic for additional compensation. Base salary range $175-200K, production bonus, with $15K sign on/relocation. This Foundation is actively recruiting. The ?Foundation? is a not-for-profit organization, which owns the capital, the real estate and buildings, and provides the staff, of which we have about 300. The physicians are members of the Medical Group, which is contracted with the Foundation as the sole provider. The Medical Group is a for-profit entity. All physicians start as a salaried associate for a year or two, then have the option to become a shareholder in the Medical Group, with a $1,000 buy-in, but no ownership of the assets. After becoming a shareholder a physician then goes at risk and participates in the compensation formula, which is basically a percentage of collected revenue, with a few minor adjustments based on annual RVUs as an incentive. As owners and shareholders of the Medical Group, physicians are their own employers, and pay their own benefits, mostly pre-tax. The total ?overhead? is very comparable to the other physicians in the community in private practice. In exchange for this, the Foundation pays the physicians professional liability insurance, does all the contracting with payors, and all the hiring/firing and billing/collections.
