Register Nurse Karen Miller is the Newest Recipient of the DAISY Award

Karen Miller, a registered nurse at Berkeley Medical Center is the recipient of the DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses for the third quarter of 2014.   The Diseases Attacking the Immune System (DAISY) award was established to give gratitude to nurses who make a profound difference in the lives of their patients and families. The DAISY Foundation is a not-for-profit based in Glen Ellen, CA and was established by the family members of J. Patrick Barnes, who died from an autoimmune disease at the age of 33. The award was presented to Miller in the medical center.
