Interest Rate Hike less Exciting to the Fed Given Market Volatility

New York Fed President William Dudley said the prospect of a September rate increase "seems less compelling to me than it was a few weeks ago." Given the recent global market chaos, a Federal Reserve interest rate hike next month seems less suitable. Dudley also said he wanted to look at more U.S. economic data before making a final judgment on policy tightening.
