Healthcare insurers and providers are seeing billions of dollars in new revenue, due to the 2nd year of subsidized private insurance and expansion of state Medicaid coverage, which added millions of more insured Americans under the Affordable Care Act.

According to a report by Avalere Health, government exchanges monitored by the state are not as successful as those controlled by the federal government.
