CMS's Meaningful Use Program Has Paid Doctors Over $24.8 Billion

A report from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services states the Meaningful Use program has “paid providers more than $24.8 billion in incentive payments since its inception.” Still, many healthcare providers have struggled to meet their Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements.

Based on the report from the CMS, it seems that it is in a physician’s best financial interest to make sure these requirements are met.
